The Internet

It's hard to find a balance between wanting my own space and wanting attention.
I used to have so much fun browsing people's basic personal websites and getting exciting to see any update... and making my own with no care about who else saw them.
But after being able to get my own devices and getting into social media as a teen, I feel like I can't go back to that. I constantly want to see notes and know I'm not talking into the void.
But at the same time, I fear whatever I could say could be used against me, who knows how far into the future. So I just say nothing.
I just want a place where I don't have to worry about these kind of things, that I won't abandon in a week due to desiring the attention I've conditioned myself to need.
